Use this warm-up with kids using eagle pose, garudasana. I used a fun folk toy I picked up in Mexico to sing the folk song of Los Pollitos Dicen. I asked kids to join in the chant of pio pio pio. I explained the meaning of the Spanish words and most kids had heard this song before. This pose develops balance and is great for the shoulders. I don't worry if they can't do the pose, it's about getting kids into their bodies and having fun! I use lots of breath awareness and show the movements very slowly for the preschool kids. Enjoy!
