Yes, officer, I confess. It was I, Ms. Ima Witch, who tried to put Hansel and Gretel in the oven. But what was an old woman to do? It was self-defense, I tell ya. Kids come busting in here, eating on my candy roof. Kids these days, they've got guns and grenades. A woman's got to protect herself these neck of the woods. It was the only thing I could think of. Whatever story you heard from them, I tell you the truth. I survived the oven, well, because Ima Witch! Oh, and Halloween, really it’s called Samhain, by the way! The education system these days……

Have fun with kids exploring the dark side of life and death! Rework a traditional fairy tale and see the view of the antagonist. Like in Malefecent and Wicked! Let loose! Have fun! Don't be afraid to be scary this one time of the year that you are allowed! Act out the story with yoga. Ask, how are you like the antagonist? How are you like the protagonist? Be sure to do corpse pose, shavasana!
