Storytime™ Yoga for Kids in May 2013 Yoga Journal Magazine

kids yoga journal

May 2013 issue of Yoga Journal features Storytime Yoga Kids Yoga Story Kits!

The Queen of Bohemia is jazzed to announce that Storytime™ Yoga for Kids is mentioned in the May 2013 issue of Yoga Journal magazine featuring kids yoga home school resources!

I was interviewed because of my time in Buenos Aires home schooling my kids with yoga in 2010 and wrote a bunch of blogs on it in my blog, The Householder Yogini.

During that time I conceived the concept of the Storytime™ Yoga Kids Yoga Story Kits, which taught kids narrative, writing, art, oral skills and yoga of course!

There is a big boom in yoga home school! And for products that go with it! Also featured in the article was Lisa Flynn’s marvelous program. You must get her new book! Yoga for Children: 200+ Yoga Poses, Breathing Exercises, and Meditations for Healthier, Happier, More Resilient Children. There’s also the cute Angel Bear Yoga as a yoga home school resource too!

It’s the second time Storytime Yoga was featured in Yoga Journal. Click here to read the August 2008 Yoga Journal article about Sydney Solis: “Once Upon A Pose.”

OM SHANTI! Teach kids yoga and tell them stories!

Very awesome post you know has capris for yoga that may be suitable for some kids, i know they would love to have their very own workout gear and mat just for them! Getting the kids involved in yoga is a great idea.

Yoga is the best and most time-tested path to physical and mental well-being known to mankind. While some people think of yoga simply as physical exercise, it is actually a complete system for overall health and well-being. It includes everything from physical postures, personal hygiene, and a healthy diet to premeditation, breathing, and relaxation techniques. The most advanced forms of meditation and self-realization are also a part of yoga. Wai Lana’s workouts focus on yoga’s physical techniques.
